A key aspect of the brief was to allow for the application of corporate colours and the ability for multiple people to use the seating at any given time. The client also wanted a design with minimal maintenance requirements.

Making a connection whilst the exhibition was featured the following year in Milan, David offered Alex an opportunity that grew and evolved into the DEK furniture suite available today. Based on the modernist flat bar and timber outdoor furniture, the range provides multiple seating and leaning opportunities.
